Hello, my name is Alvaro Vaquero and I have been playing this wonderful sport called Tennis for more than 35 years and more than 25 years as a teacher, giving dynamic and fun classes for all ages. Tenis Tenerife Sur is an academy where people from all over the world come to learn, play and have fun.

We have compiled the main questions that our students have asked us over the years.
At what age can children start playing tennis?
The recommended age is 5 years old, when the child starts to become familiar with the racket, the ball and the environment.
If I don't have a car, can I book a private lesson?
We have a transfer service to take you to the nearest court to your home and bring you back.
For group classes, how many days do you play per week?
It is recommended to play twice a week, on alternate days such as Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday, to ensure correct learning.
Do I need to have a racket to book a lesson?
We have children's and adults' rackets available for group lessons as well as private lessons.
How do I know the size of the racket for my child?
There are universal sizes depending on the height of the child, from 19 inches for the smallest children to 27 inches for teenagers. We have several models available in our school.
